Spring 2013 Bus Trip

 

On May 15, 2013 the UMW Galleries will be heading to Baltimore, MD to visit the newly renovated Contemporary Wing at the Baltimore Museum of Art and the American Visionary Art Museum.  The cost for ASPIRE members is $35 per person and $50 for non-ASPIRE members.  Member registration starts February 1 and non-member registration starts March 1.  For more information please contact Allison Long Hardy at ahardy@umw.edu or 540-654-1710.

Tentative schedule:

7:00 AM – Meet at Ridderhof Martin Gallery for boxed breakfast
7:30 AM – Depart Fredericksburg
9:45 AM – Arrive in Baltimore, MD
10:00 AM – Guided tour of the Baltimore Museum of Art’s new Contemporary Wing
11:00 AM – Self-directed exploration of BMA, break for lunch
1:00 PM – Departing BMA
1:15 PM – Arrive at American Visionary Art Museum, self-directed exploration of AVAM
2:00 PM – Guided tour of AVAM
3:00 PM – Depart Baltimore, MD
6:00 PM – Arrive back in Fredericksburg (may be slightly earlier or later, depending on traffic)
